Description

The sky roc is a winged type of the world worm's streams (or space fish's streams).  The sky roc, or just 'big fuck off bird' is the largest in size of the stream forms.  They range from nine to thirteen feet at the shoulder, although the largest was a colossal sixteen feet at the shoulder, but there isn't knowledge of more than one of these giants having existed more than once.

The sky roc is most at home in the air, although they are not too bad at swimming.  They fold in their wings and use only the hand area as a fin for propulsion.  The tail fins they use as steering and stabilisation in the air and in the sea.  When they move about on land they fold the 'feather' section of their wing back and walk on their three-clawed hand.  They are reasonably dexterous with their claws, although their talons and general structure prevent them from working with anything too fine.

They really emphasise the fish and bird part of manfishbird.

Roc & their mythos (c) RocCenere

This was an experiment working with having light coming through membranes.  I have no idea what I'm doing. Lol.

yo dude this is so good. the motion blurring isnt overdone and adds just enough sense of urgency/movement. its got a really great tone. it may just be a personal taste thing, but i feel like there should be more highlighting on the tail and wing feathers and through the wing membranes, if its positioned right in front of a light source as extreme as the sun. some pinkness (or whatever their blood colour is), maybe some visible veins too for membranes?
when feathers bunch together light doesnt get through as much, but definitely on ones like the longer decorative tail feathers, theyd be more delicate and show light through more.
aaah, references for better explanation.
adding those sorts of white highlights would give them more of a sense of delicacy that feathers usually have. unless you intentionally wanted to make it kind of solid/dark, in which case, don't mind me.
