not that kind of drown

My experience of my undergraduate degree at university was spending second year up at the bar after we'd done assignments together, teaching each other and bitching, drinking beer and cider and talking about concepts from within our degree all the way to things about the world.  People would bring guitars, so it would be music and beer.  Good times.

I wouldn't have done as well in my degree, I don't think, if it hadn't been for the bunch of loveable fuckwits I had around me (: we pulled each other along. (and we're all still close even though I don't go to their uni anymore!  They are doing their Masters and PhD's and I'm so proud of them!)

And that's what Cass is experiencing here.  Working with other people to build an understanding can be an A++++ way of studying.  Someone else may understand a concept that you don't and be able to explain it in a way that you do understand, and vice versa.
Yao and Ana here want Cass to be their beer study buddy hahah, and Yao is getting his armpit hair all over that seat gross dude why you do this?
