tattoo design commission

This is the tattoo design commission I finished for a client earlier this year.  The client was incredibly patient and fantastic to work with.  This is as close to what was in her mind as we can get, from star trails to the big bang at the tip.
The idea is that the client will eventually take this to a tattoo artist and talk through what is possible in terms of a tattoo, where this painting is supposed to be as close to the client's idea as possible.

This took many hours or working and reworking, and, personally, I am particularly proud of the star and the space section.
