Uncertainty principle

This is the acrylic piece I've been working on since the last few days of June.
I've learned a tonne in the process, and thank you to those who offered advice. If I edit it in the future then I will update.

The painting features the Heisenberg uncertainty principle (in one dimension), a sun as the nucleus of an hydrogen atom with an up-spin electron. The clouds in the background are coloured based (not precisely) on H-alpha for the red and O-II excitation for the blue-green. Off the top of my head these are two of the wavelengths used to generate false colour images.

I'm looking forward to doing more acrylic paintings in the future.
